Here are my photos from the Seattle portion of my summer trip! You can see the whole set on Flickr.
The Woodland Park Zoo was very nice, with a large variety of animals in modern exhibits. They also had the coveted web address of zoo.org!
I took this from the Space Needle using my camera’s Minitaure Model mode, which blurs out portions of the picture to make the image look like toy buildings.
The Seattle Aquarium was also a nice attraction, though the hordes of school kids made the experience a little loud.
After the Aquarium, we went next door to the Crab Pot for lunch. I found a tiny crab amongst the steamed clams we ordered (it was dead).
We also went on a tour of the bay. The views made for a lot of good photos of nature and industry.
