VH1 had some weird show this morning so I went over to the news channels for my wake-up TV time. CNN has been covering every angle (and even making new ones) of the bridge collapse. It’s somehow a “mystery” that the bridge suddenly fell into the Mississippi. I can name the prime suspects: gravity, rush hour traffic, engineering fault. Is that so puzzling? I’d also like to learn about about real disasters, such as the monsoons in south Asia where hundreds of people have died so far as opposed to, say, 5 or so.
