(Forced) Ch- Ch- Ch- Changes

When I first started blogging in 2001, Blogger was strictly an FTP affair. Then they invented blogspot and FTP started to get devalued. The time has come for Blogger to drop FTP access, which imperils this very blog. I still wanted my blog on my own domain space so I decided to drop Blogger for Wordpress.

For the past few weeks I've been tinkering with making Wordpress work on my site. I was very happy to find that Wordpress is a breeze to use. I'm just a few tweaks away from having it take over the blog at this address. If you want to see the Wordpress version now, take a peek here. Images don't work right now but I'm pretty sure they'll load right when the Wordpress blog is moved to the right directory. The only other critical thing I need to do is to add menu links to the comics and professional sections. Easy!

I'm Trying to Make My Photos More Visible

One thing bad about the Flickr badge on the sidebar is that it's tiny and easy to miss. I'm considering making Flickr badges to show off photos as I upload them. I'm starting with these photos from the Parque de las Leyendas because they're cool, and I'm still experimenting with badge technology. If you missed out on these, enjoy!

Oh Ya...

I have photos from 24 Hour Comics Day and other stuff on my Flickr. The new Flash Flickr thing is cool, but kinda small so it's hard to see when new things show up.

Also, I keep portraits and other pictures featuring just people behind a privacy barrier. You can see them if you're a Flickr buddy of mine.

I'm Officially a Twit

I scoffed at Twitter and microblogging. Scoffed! Then I realized it's kind of cool and tried it out for a month. Now I've gone the next step and integrated it with both my blog and my Facebook status. It clearly is the wave of the future. For thoroughness, here's a link to keep track of my tweets.
